The ingredients are pictured above, assemble all your ingredients and read through the instructions below. I suggest you start by bringing the water to a boil for the noodles. Prepare and cook the broccoli, and start the mushrooms while the broccoli cooks. Then make the cheese sauce and set aside. Add the noodles to the boiling water and start the pork chops. Both the broccoli and mushrooms can be kept on low heat until the pork is cooked. Once everything is cooked, serve on warm plates and enjoy. Assemble dessert right before serving.
Pan Fried Pork Chops
4 boneless center -cut chops ( about 1 1/2 inch thick)
salt and pepper to taste
1 tablespoon olive or canola oil
Buttered Noodles
1/2 pound egg noodles
1 tbsp olive oil or butter
salt and pepper to taste
Sautéed Mushrooms
1 tbsp olive oil
1 pound mushrooms, sliced
1 clove garlic, chopped
salt and pepper to taste
Broccoli with Cheese
6 cups fresh broccoli florets of frozen broccoli cooked according to pkg directions
1 cup milk
1tbsp cornstarch
1/2 cup cheddar cheese
1/4 tsp Worcestershire sauce
1/4 tsp hot sauce
Cheese
Fruit Parfait
1 cup unflavored Greek yogurt
2 tablespoon sugar or honey
1/4 cup Heavy Cream, whipped
2 cups fruit such as blueberries or raspberries or any seasonal fruit cut into 1/2 inch pieces
1/4 cup toasted chopped almonds or walnuts
4 small sugar cookies ( optional)
Pan Fried Pork Chops
In a large skillet heat oil. Add the pork chops and sprinkle with salt and pepper. Cook about 4 minutes on each side until cooked. Remove from heat and keep warm.
Calories: 200 per 4 ounces of cooked meat, about 5 ounces uncooked
Buttered Noodles
Cook noodles as directed on the package. Once cooked drain and toss with butter, salt and pepper to taste. Keep warm until ready to serve.

Sautéed Mushrooms
In a medium skillet, heat the oil, add the garlic and cook for 2 minutes. Add the mushrooms and cook , stirring often until they begin to brown about 6 to 7 minutes.

Broccoli with Cheese
For fresh broccoli: Place steamer basket and 1 inch of water in 4-quart saucepan. Heat water to boiling. Add broccoli; cover and reduce heat to medium. Steam vegetables 8 minutes or until tender. Make the cheese sauce: Combine milk and cornstarch in a saucepan. Slowly bring to a boil while stirring often. Once the milk has come to a boil, remove it from the heat and stir in the cheese until it is evenly mixed. Add the Worcestershire and hot sauce. Fruit Parfait
In a bowl mix the yogurt with the sugar, fold in the whipped cream. Spoon the cream mixture into a parfait dish or a bowl, top with the fruit and nuts . Garnish with a sugar cookie
