Try it; you will like it. I prefer the smaller papayas over the large fruits. You eat papaya like you would a mango or a melon; wash the skin, slice in half, scoop out tiny black seeds and discard, and cut into bite size pieces. Extra portions can be frozen. A whole papaya can last in the refrigerator seven to ten days depending on ripeness.

Cooking Instructions:

Simply peel, and cut into slices or cubes. Eat plain or combine with other fruits such as in the recipe for Fruit Con Leche listed in the Dessert Catagory of this web page.
