When making a salad shop for radishes less than 1 in diameter with good bright color and plump round shape. Avoid radishes with decayed radish tops. A radish contains very few calories and a little bit of fiber.

Cooking Instructions:

To serve: rinse and slice as part of a vegetable plate, they are hard and round like a carrot and can pose the same risk for choking to children slice or grate before serving to little ones.
Tip: Large radishes can be cut into slices and used to replace crackers with vegetable dips or hummus.
