Bean Burger: Date Added: 30 Aug 2016 Ingredients:

Lentils cook faster than most other beans making them a good choice for this “burger”. If you have a small food processer use it to chop the carrots, onion and garlic, the smaller the vegetable pieces the better they mix and combine with the lentils. Tomato paste comes in small cans, spoon remaining tomato paste in 2 tablespoon portions, into a plastic bag and freeze for use in other recipes. It will thaw quickly, just place the bag in warm water for a few minutes before using. If you do not have tomato paste you can substitute with catsup.
Prep time 30 minutes, plus 60 minutes for the “burgers” to rest before cooking total cook time 90 minutes mostly unattended.
